Is Bench Buddy free?
Yes, completely. No trial, no subscription, no in-app purchases.
Do I need to create an account?
Signing in saves your teams to your account, so they're there next week and on any device. You can look around without one, but you'll need to sign in to keep a team.
How does Bench Buddy decide who's fair?
It spreads pitch time, bench time, and goalkeeper turns as evenly as your squad size and game settings allow, then flags the result as Fair, Nearly fair, or Needs attention so you know exactly what you're starting the game with.
What if a player arrives late or gets injured mid-game?
Tell Bench Buddy on the spot — add the late arrival or mark the injury — and it rebuilds the rest of the game's rotation around it, still aiming for a fair result.
Can parents or players see the rotation too?
Not yet as their own sign-in — today it's built for whoever's running the sideline. Showing the board to a parent or a player is exactly what it's designed for, though; that's the whole point of Today's Minutes.
